Adults

We would recommend taking your measurements (bust and waist), using our instructions on how to measure yourself, and compare these to our size chart below. Here are some sizing recommendations:

All measurements are in inches.
We would recommend sizing up if you are in between sizes (or at the very top of a size bracket) or require a looser or more modest fit.
Our ECONYL® swimwear runs small due to the compressive nature of the fabric, so we would recommend sizing up for comfort. Please check the ‘Fabric and Features’ for details of whether the product contains ECONYL®.

*For Swim Sets, Swim Bottoms are paired with the corresponding size of swim dress.

**One-size Swim Bottoms covers sizes XXS-S.

The above size chart is given as a guide only and provides approximate measurements for a comfortable fit. If you prefer a looser or more modest fit, or you are in-between sizes, please select a size up.

*These are the recommended ages in years (inclusive) that this size will cover. For ages 14+ we would recommend selecting a size XXS-S from our adult Swimwear Collections, depending on your child's size. Please consult the above adult size chart for guidance on our adult Swimwear sizing.
**Swim Tights for ages 2-9 are intended to be cropped, falling between the calf and the ankle (as per the photos on the product page). Swim Tights for ages 10-13 are full length to the ankle.

Description

One piece modest Swim Dress only (Swim Bottoms sold separately).
Long sleeved bodysuit Swim Dress in Wave.
Empire waist with double-layer peplum skirt creating a feminine and smooth silhouette on any body type.
Cap sleeve detail.
High neck.
Zip opening to back with long adjustable zipper pull.
Fully lined front with removable padded cups.

Pair with Swim Tights in Wave or Capri Swim Tights in Wave for added UPF50+ sun protection.

Fit and sizing

The double peplum layer starts from the waist and cascades down to your thighs, creating the illusion of a looser fit, whilst actually giving you the full support of a one-piece swimsuit underneath. It instantaneously gives you an hour-glass figure and the capped sleeves frame your arms with another feminine touch. For an average 5’5” woman with her arms placed on her thighs to the side, the Serena’s final peplum falls to the end of her thumb at the front and cascades longer towards the rear and falls to the ends of her fingertips.

Model is 5ft, 9 inches / 175cm, 32" bust, 27" waist, 37" hips, is a UK size 10 and wears a Lanuuk size S.

Beautiful and versatile swimwear

I purchased from Lanuuk and their swimwear is such good quality, makes me feel beautiful as well as being covered! I love it, definitely will be returning! This swimsuit is a game changer, the built-in bra makes it so much more comfortable, you don't have to put on layers just to be modest. It dresses easily even if wet. Going to the bathroom is like a walk in the park, honestly it removed all the issues I had with normal burkinis and even better it dries very fast and it is so breathable you feel good wearing it even wet.
And I have to appreciate the bag that it comes packed in, it's just adorable.
I love this swimsuit and definitely will be trying the others out. Thank you Lanuuk for this amazing piece.

First time and Loved it!

I normally wear sports brand wetsuits or something shorter as I am an avid swimmer and outdoor sports enthusiast , after having two kids and drastic lifestyle changes and feeling conscious i felt hesitant and almost upset to buy something to “cover” as well as worried that all the extra fabric would get in the way whilst I was doing any swimming activities…. NOT AT ALL…. Firstly the fit was so good and it complimented my body and made me feel confident ! Secondly the quality was probably better than the sports brands i used to buy which I did not expect! Thirdly the product is so well designed , allowing you to easily wear it and take it off as well as fitting so well that whilst swimming it feels good! So glad I got it and thank you for making such a great product !
