Adults

We would recommend taking your measurements (bust and waist), using our instructions on how to measure yourself, and compare these to our size chart below. Here are some sizing recommendations:

All measurements are in inches.
We would recommend sizing up if you are in between sizes (or at the very top of a size bracket) or require a looser or more modest fit.
Our ECONYL® swimwear runs small due to the compressive nature of the fabric, so we would recommend sizing up for comfort. Please check the ‘Fabric and Features’ for details of whether the product contains ECONYL®.

*For Swim Sets, Swim Bottoms are paired with the corresponding size of swim dress.

**One-size Swim Bottoms covers sizes XXS-S.

Kids

**Swim Tights for ages 2-9 are intended to be cropped, falling between the calf and the ankle (as per the photos on the product page). Swim Tights for ages 10-13 are full length to the ankle.

Description

Two-piece full coverage Swimwear for Kids.
Set includes Lula Swim Dress in Shell and Kids Swim Tights in Earth.
Long sleeved bodysuit Swim Dress, with snap button opening at crotch.
Cinched waist with tiered petal skirt, reminiscent of the petals of a tulip.
Zip opening to back with long adjustable zipper pull.
Ages 2-9: Cropped Swim Tights falling between the calf and the ankle.
Ages 10-13: Full length Swim Tights falling between the calf and the ankle (length of Swim Tights is given on our size chart).

Fit and sizing

Model is aged 8, height 130cm and wears size 8-9.

Fabric and Features

78% ECONYL® regenerated nylon, 22% Elastane.

ECONYL® yarn is a 100% regenerated nylon fibre from pre and post-consumer waste such as fishing nets and other nylon waste. This sustainable techno-fabric is versatile, hyper-resistant, soft and breathable: a unique mix of muscular compression and comfort. Thanks to its innovative construction, it is twice as resistant to chlorine and suntan creams and oils than other fabrics.

About the Collection

As mothers to three little girls between us, Lanuuk Kids was born out of our desire to create beautiful sustainable swimwear for our daughters. Products that protect them from the sun and provide an added layer of confidence.

Just like our adult swimwear range, we want our daughters when growing up to associate swimwear with more than just a one-piece or a bikini. Remembering back to our own journeys through puberty and adolescence, we believe it is important to move away from the concept of a ‘beach body’ and all the associated pressures. Instead, our aim is to empower our daughters and yours, to know that they are beautiful, regardless of how much skin they choose to show or how they choose to dress at the beach or the pool.

This 'mommy and me' range gives our girls the comfort of a full coverage swimsuit, in our best-selling designs, whilst matching or complementing with mommy. Little girls often love to try on mommy’s wardrobe and walk around with oversized clothes - and they seem to have the same idea with our swimwear!

Nice swimsuit

I really like the fabric and overall design, it is pretty and flattering. However I really wish the dress part was longer. It may seem cute on a smaller girl, but I feel that for 10 and above it should be more modest. My daughter instinctively keeps pulling the top down to cover her bottom, as otherwise it gets exposed. The other issue is for girls on a slender side, I had to insert a rubber as the waist on the leggings is too wide for my daughter. There is a lot of potential here, the quality is amazing, I just wished it was covering all the bits you expect to be covered in a modest swimsuit.
